100 things to know about inventions

Inventors and their work build on one another through the centuries. So many are related (cars and traffic lights), while others are often overlooked (the safety pin). Some appear unrelated, like search engines and trains or chocolate and dye, so it’s fun to figure out how the two subjects on each page spread might have inspired or furthered what came before.

This is a fun picture book with limited text, a good STEM title for those who are mechanically minded, curious about history, or just looking for a book to browse.
