Happy 500th birthday to the Protestant Reformation!
500 years ago this month, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door in Wittenburg. Of course, the Reformation encompasses more than just Luther’s bold act. The Lord used men and women before and after Luther to bravely proclaim the importance of God’s Word, God’s grace, Christ’s sufficiency, and more.
Well, what better way to learn about these men and women and the work the Lord was doing than by reading some great books about these very things?! We’ve reviewed many books over the years at Redeemed Reader that look at just this time period.

Thanks for this fantastic book list! It’s very timely. I blogged about the Oxford Martyrs as well as some of my favorite Reformation resources here: https://starlightwriter.wordpress.com/2017/10/16/the-oxford-martrys/
Thanks, Diana! I looked at your review–and noticed the podcast link!! I’m excited to check that out with my kids.
