Sexual Integrity Resources for Teens

Janie and I have spent a lot of time preparing for our Fifty Shades trilogy coverage here on the site.  In case you missed it, we interviewed Tim Challies on how to think Biblically about pornography, and we hosted a roundtable discussion with Megan Basham.  Janie also reviewed two Christian books about sexuality and our bodies for teens.

What we haven’t had time for is to review a significant number of books that address sexual temptation head on.  But it’s such a pressing topic, we’d like to give you some idea of books worth looking into.  Thus, we have put together the widget below.  Some of them we have read.  For instance, I have read Douglas Bond’s book for Fathers and Sons, which deals with masculinity, and I think a lot of father-son pairs would benefit from it.

Most of the books here, though, we haven’t read.  I have great respect for authors like Susan Hunt, Tim Challies, Nancy Leigh DeMoss and Joe Dallas, and I suspect they will be very helpful to you.   I have the least amount of knowledge about Every Young Man’s Battle and Every Young Woman’s Battle, but I was able to browse through the latter online and it looked promising.  But be forewarned–we are not able to give you a thorough review of these products at this point, so you’ll have use your own judgement.

So, with those caveats, we hope you find some of these recommendations useful!  And don’t forget, if you click through them and purchase anything, we get a small kickback which helps us offset costs.  So, thanks…and happy reading!

Oh, and here’s a similar book list for girls over at Nancy Leigh DeMoss’ website you might want to check out.

If you can’t see the widget, here’s a list of titles:

Brandon, A number of browsers won’t show the Amazon flash-based widgets. You may also have an anti-virus program that blocks them. BUT, I added a list today with links, so hopefully now you’ll be able to use that list to find what you’re looking for!
