Most children love trying on and wearing hats, the bigger and flashier the better. Naturally, they also enjoy books about hats. So, in honor of Mad Hatter Day (October 6), we’ve collected some of our favorite hat books for your enjoyment. Your local library is sure to have a few!

I love this list! You should add A Three Hat Day by L.G. Bass and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. This is a favorite in our house.
