This charming story of Peter Rabbit opens with, “Once upon a time there were four little Rabbits,

and their names were—Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter. Aren’t those adorable names? The Tale of Peter Rabbit is a classic tale with good reason. The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which I read with my own mother over and over and over as a child, quickly became one of my favorite stories. We read The Tale of Peter Rabbit everywhere, and the little child-friendly size meant I could carry it every where.

The rabbits, including Peter, since this is The Tale of Peter Rabbit, lived with their Mother

in a sand-bank, underneath the root of a very big fir-tree. Can you imagine living under a tree? Not me. But I love to go hiking. In fact, The Tale of Peter Rabbit reminds me of some of my FAVORITE hiking trails, and these are my favorite hiking boots (on sale today!). I like to wear these socks with them, too. What are your favorite hiking boots and socks?

Oh, but back to The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Did you know Peter has to hide from Farmer McGregor?

Let’s see, where was I?
