Beginning with Palm Sunday and moving through Easter Sunday, biblical events are retold alongside the refrain of “Blessed is the King….” By the end of the story, children will certainly be familiar with this verse to remember! Artwork is exuberantly cheerful, almost glowing. Even when people are frowning (and shouting “Crucify him!”), art is still colorful and vibrant.
Back matter includes helpful resources for parents and Sunday school teachers about helping children memorize and helping them learn about God in the first place!
