In this book with your little eye, take a look and play eye spy!

On each page of this engaging and interactive board book, children must spot a fairytale or nursery rhyme character.  While Mother Hubbard is busy in the cottage, the three bears are out and about, Jack and Jill are falling down the hill, and various other characters are going about their business.  But, at the end of the story, one thing will bring them all together.  Sweetly illustrated, this is sure to be enjoyed by young children and even their older siblings!

British husband-and-wife team, Allan and Janet Ahlberg, created a number of sweet picture books together before Janet’s death.  Some favorites not yet reviewed but worth checking out are The Baby’s Catalogue and Peek—A—Boo!  Since Janet’s death, Allan has continued to write wonderful picture books.  Lovers of the Ahlberg team should take a look at his Goldilocks Variations, a pop-up book written in 2012 with his daughter, Jessica.  She has definitely inherited her mother’s talent!
