Yesterday wrapped up our Mom with a Blog Contest. And the winner was…Julie of www.learningtotreasure.blogspot.com! She won the Game of Sovereignty (that’s as opposed to Games of Chance) I played yesterday by assigning all the entrants numbers and pulling one out of a glass, and thus I’ll be putting her book in the mail shortly. You might like to know that her blog is a lovely bookshelf for the kids’ book she is reading with her own children, as well as some hands-on activities for kids and other faith topics (like the National Day of Prayer.) I’d encourage you all to check it out and maybe leave her a note of congratulations!
Of course, Julie wasn’t the only other writing/reading mom we met in the process. Here is a quick list of the blogs that were recommended and links so you can meet some of our readers and their favorite blogs for yourself!

Janie and I are so honored to be able to share in the mothering journey of so many readers and fellow bloggers! Thank you so much for taking part in the contest, and don’t forget to check out our other Mother’s Day week posts: Good Christian Girls and A Mother’s Day Meditation: ‘She Has Done a Beautiful Thing.‘ Or if you’re in the mood for something a little less sticky sweet, why not take a look at Janie’s Steampunk! The Airborne Trilogy.

I’m so excited to hear I have won!! Unfortunantly I have been trying all morning to open my e-mails and have been unable to access my account. You can contact me through my husband’s e-mail.
I am so excited to find some new blogs to check out! Julie’s seems to be down at the moment, but hopefully it will be back up soon. Off to check out the others! 🙂
Fixed the link. Sorry about that!
