And, finally, some news that weighs heavy on my own heart: we lost a great saint this week–Jerry Bridges. Amongst his other kingdom service, Bridges wrote truly excellent books on the Christian life that are accessible to the average Christian as well as offering meat to more seasoned believers. One of my personal favorites was a graduation gift pick of ours a few years back (The Gospel for Real Life).
