With four great finalists to choose from, I hope you guys got a lot of entertainment value out of this contest. It was very close, and I hope no one tried to vote and gave up because of our site problems. (We’re working on them…again!) Of those of you who voted both in the poll and in the comments, we had a total of 135 votes.
And the young woman who got the most? Lane Elder, author of When Pigs Fly. So congratulations to her for being our overall winner and thus netting a $50 Amazon gift card.
As for Katie, who was our first runner-up in the short story, as well as Hayley–the book review contest winner and second runner-up in the short story contest–I hope you guys had fun! We’ll be glad to give you a little feedback if you’d like, and then you can get to work on your stories for next year!
